His words; Pictures from a new, unsanctioned youth (8-18) competition we held at the 10th annual CLANJAMFRY: A Scottish Festival in Memphs, TN, this last Saturday, Sept 20. The festival is a fundraiser for Evergreen Presb. Church, for their community outreach. They also hosted a sanctioned highland dance competition, which is the stage you see in these pictures. We had 7 youth participate. 2 on practice chanter, 1 on pipes, 1 on tenor, 2 on practice pad and 1 on snare. The judges were Jim McRae from Birmigham, Alabama for pipes, and Scott Bable of Southaven, MS on percussion.
